Books Are Wings
The mission of BAW is to put free books in the hands of children. We envision a state where every child has access to books in their home. BAW programs expose children from low-income families to literacy-rich reading materials. What began as small organization operating from the founder's home in 1998 has quickly grown into a statewide agency whose collection and distribution of new and gently used books touches every corner of Rhode Island.
