Foothills Humane Society (FHS) is a private, non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization located in Polk County, North Carolina and northern Greenville and Spartanburg counties in South Carolina
FHS's mission is to shelter stray/surrendered companion animals within our community; prevent animal cruelty; reunite lost animals with owners; adopt animals to qualified homes or place them with reputable rescue organizations; and educate the public about responsible animal ownership and population control.
