New York Coalition for Healthy School Lunches

Hungry kids need healthy food! 1/2 of kids have fatty streaks in their arteries, & 1/3 to 1/2 will get type 2 diabetes if something doesn't change. We change how schools feed kids by introducing healthy plant-based entrees and other whole plant foods, and provide nutrition education to the whole school community - students, parents, teachers, administrators, and food service personnel. We teach students and adults to be critical thinkers about food, and that they are in charge of their health destiny.
