The Susan C. Petrey Clarion Scholarship Fund's mission is to help assure the future of the speculative genres of literature by encouraging new writers to develop their skills through the Clarion and Clarion West Writers Workshops. This includes financial help in the form of scholarships, assisting the workshops themselves to recruit top level professional writers to be instructors and other appropriate means of support.
