San Luis Valley Ecosystem Council does public lands advocacy protection in the upper Rio Grande, surrounding the San Luis Valley. Our land protection includes Rio Grande National Forest, Great Sand Dunes National Park, SLV Bureau of Land Management lands and SLV Wildlife Refuges. If you have visited these places, then we have been involved in providing public comment to manage these lands on your behalf to protect wildlife, watersheds, biodiversity and quiet use.
